These tole (painted tin) trees are made in the San Miguel de Allende, Mexico workshop of Stray Dog Designs.
San Miguel has been a Mecca for tin products for over 400 years,
but it is slowly disappearing.
Stray Dog Designs hopes to preserve this traditional craft while making it modern with bright colors and fun designs.
Each Stray Dog Designs product is made by hand by artisans
who are paid a living wage.
